My 1981 Suzuki GS750E , I bought this in June of 2006 11k miles ran great needed tires and the carbs set up ,, It had the Vetter Windjammer fairing bags and sissy bar , a real clash from the 80's..

The head lights are actually two 5 inch fog lights with the red neon glow around the outter edge, they are steel housing's so I cut the backs out of them and removed the 55W fog light bulb, then I got the sealed beam bulbs out of a 1996 chevy cavalier. I got the cav bulbs at the junk yard, so I took the metal insert that held the bulb in the light itself, I welded the metal inserts into the fog lights were I removed the 55W bulb, then I attached the two lights together for the streetfighter dual headlight look,, the lights now take low beam 9005 high beam 9006 bulbs. I didnt hook up the neon light , I didnt think a red light on the front of a motorcycle was a good idea, but the red neon ring in the glass gives a nice look on the red bike.

I cut the red reflector tape in to .25 inch wide stripes and pin striped the red to white on the tank and down the side panels ,, it is hard to capture the effect it has with a camera unless I take the pictures in the dark ,, (PICTURE ABOVE OF TANK)

I stripped it down to the motor and frame and started from there. sandblasting and painting everything, as you can see there some nice mods I came up with

The YOSHIMURA RS-3 exhaust came from a 2003 GSXR1100 , I took the complete exhaust and cut it every point it was welded together , then I took my stock GS750E exhaust and cut it at every point it was welded at , then out of the two exhaust I was able to build a header 4- into -1 with the YOSHI pipe on it ,

11-27-2006 FINISHED ,

Was able to get a little over 500 miles on it before the cold came , and it still suprises me how good these old tanks will run with a little T.L.C.
